Service Technician

As a Service Technician at the Ballast & Buoyancy Division in Navi Mumbai, your role will involve assisting in servicing, repairing, and mobilizing equipment at project sites and the workshop. You will work closely with Service Engineers, Sales, and Logistics teams to ensure accurate records and equipment tracking in D365. This position is an excellent opportunity to gain technical experience in a project-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: - Assist service engineers in providing services and technical support for client/unique owned equipment at project sites. - Assist in the repair & maintenance of equipment at the workshop, including mobilization and demobilization. - Coordinate and assist Sales and Logistics Division in equipment movement, maintaining accurate inventories data in D365. - Maintain and audit the physical stock of the workshop, following job cards provided by Service Engineers. - Keep track of IN/OUT rental equipment and repair of client equipment as per tracking sheets prepared by Senior Engineer. - Maintain tracking sheets for lifting tackles and calibration of internal equipment. - File signed copies of executed jobs for internal and invoicing purposes. - Compile service reports, follow up on services, and update data in D365 related to DN/GRN and Documentation. - Complete any tasks assigned by Service Engineers related to servicing and equipment maintenance jobs. - Prepare and submit necessary reports in a timely manner. Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: - Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. - Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of equipment, experience in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). - Experience: 1-3 years.
