Job Description

Role Purpose

To lead and manage branch service operations, achieve service targets, and mentor junior engineers by providing technical support and training.

Job Summary

Responsible for planning, supervising, and executing service activities in line with customer requirements and organizational standards, ensuring efficient and effective regional service operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Plan and allocate service engineers as per customer requirements.

2. Resolve Machine Tool Builder (MTB) complaints wherever applicable.

3. Guide and assist juniors in problem-solving and attend critical breakdown calls.

4. Update service activities in ERP systems.

5. Prepare and send service quotations to customers for out-of-warranty (OW) services.

6. Oversee maintenance and calibration of measuring and control equipment, along with spare parts management.

7. Provide on-the-job training to junior engineers.

8. Manage escalations of unresolved or critical issues by coordinating with Head Office.

9. Ensure timely follow-up and closure of service outstanding in the assigned region.

10. Ensure adherence to ISO processes and coordinate with other functional departments.

11. Conduct periodic customer visits to strengthen relationships and support business development, where necessary.
