As a Mechanical Engineer / Diploma Mech. Engineer with 2-3 years of experience in Surat, your responsibilities will include: - Planning purchasing activities based on Indents/PR/MR. - Preparing Tender documents/RFQ as per the procedure and issuing them to prospective vendors. - Notifying vendors through emails to ensure timely bids and quotes. - Sourcing and managing vendors, while also exploring opportunities with new vendors. - Reviewing bids both technically and commercially, coordinating with the technical team for recommendations, and seeking clarification from bidders when necessary. - Creating a Price Comparative sheet and preparing an approval note with proper justifications. - Generating Purchase orders according to agreed terms and conditions. - Negotiating and closing deals with optimal terms and conditions. - Finalizing the tender process by issuing notifications to successful and unsuccessful bidders, assembling contract documents for execution, and preparing contracts under seal. - Maintaining contractual records and documentation, including control of all contract correspondence, contact information sheets, and updates on contractual changes, status reports, extensions, and amendments. - Ensuring contract close-out, extension, or renewal.
