As a ServiceNow Developer with 6+ years of experience, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Application Development: - Design and develop custom applications using ServiceNow's App Engine. - Create and maintain scoped applications utilizing all platform functionalities. - Scripting and Automation: - Write and maintain scripts, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Actions. - Demonstrate proficiency in JavaScript and Glide API for server-side and client-side scripting. - Integrations: - Develop and manage integrations between ServiceNow and other systems using REST APIs. - Utilize Integration Hub for building and managing integrations. - ServiceNow Modules: - Have extensive experience with IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), and HR Service Delivery (HRSD) modules. - Experience with major release upgrades and plugin updates, ideally having independently managed a ServiceNow upgrade in the past. - Configuration Management: - Configure and customize forms, fields, views, lists, and UI policies. - Implement and manage the Common Service Data Model (CSDM). - User Interface and Experience: - Develop and enhance ServiceNow Portals using UI/UX best practices. - Create and customize dashboards and reports to meet business needs. - Ideally, have mobile app configuration experience. - Troubleshooting and Support: - Diagnose and resolve platform issues. - Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications. - Project Management and Collaboration: - Work with functional teams and clients to gather requirements and implement solutions. - Lead and mentor junior developers, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. - Continuous Improvement: - Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and best practices. - Continuously improve and optimize the platform to meet evolving business needs.
