Job Description

As a Workshop Manager at our company, your primary responsibility is to ensure the profitability of the workshop. You will be in charge of selling spares and other margin-making items while maintaining a daily record of vehicle repairs and services. Your role also includes supervising and managing automotive service technicians and repairers, as well as overseeing PDI and warranty management. Monitoring workshop quality and delivery performance parameters such as RV, TAT, and manpower training levels is crucial for this position. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure Workshop Profitability - Ensure sale of Spares & other margin making items - Maintain and manage a daily record of repairs and services of vehicles undertaken and completed - Supervise, manage, and monitor automotive service technicians and repairers - PDI and warranty Management - Monitor workshop Quality and delivery performance parameters such as RV, TAT, manpower training levels In terms of customer handling, you are expected to prioritize 100% customer satisfaction. Handling customer escalations and resolving them in a timely and effective manner is essential for maintaining good customer relations. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure 100% Customer Satisfaction - Handle customer escalation & resolve them From a technical perspective, you will facilitate or conduct technical training sessions for employees and ensure they receive appropriate training when needed. Additionally, monitoring and following up on parts orders with the parts manager to ensure availability is part of your role. You will also be responsible for initialing all repair orders before submitting them to the warranty department and monitoring sales and hours relative to expectations. Qualification Required: - Total work experience: 1 year (Preferred) - Workshop or service experience: 1 year (Required) - Driving License (Required) Location: - Harur, Tamil Nadu (Required) Willingness to travel: - 50% (Required) This is a full-time position with benefits such as paid sick time and performance bonuses offered.
