Job Description

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented Service Head/Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing post-installation service operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and leading a team of service engineers.

1. Service Operations & Issue Resolution

  • Manage and oversee the installation and after-sales service of supplied equipment at customer sites.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients and internal teams.

2. Customer Coordination & Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for service-related escalations from customers.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients regarding service performance, feedback, and improvements.
  • Provide technical guidance to customers for efficient equipment usage and maintenance.
  • Prepare the O & M Manuals.

3. Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead and manage a Service Technical Team of 1015 professionals.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely resolution of service requests.

4. Coordination with Manufacturing & Other Departments

  • Co-ordination with the manufacturing, sales, and design teams to ensure smooth operations and service efficiency.

5. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain detailed service reports and records of equipment performance, failures, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure service documentation is up-to-date and compliant with company policies and customer requirements.
  • Analyze service trends and prepare reports for management on service effectiveness and improvement areas.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 05 - 08 years of experience in Manufacturing sector
  • Team Leadership & Management: Ability to handle and guide a service team effectively.
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Strong knowledge of rotary equipment, Agitators, Gearboxes or Mechanical Seals and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to analyze, diagnose, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
