Service Engineer

As a Service Engineer at Consilium Safety Group, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced fire and gas detection systems, along with Voyage Data Recorder. Your contributions will directly impact the safety and operational efficiency of our clients" critical systems. **Key Responsibilities:** - Install, maintain, and troubleshoot fire detection, gas detection, VDR, and other safety systems. - Program, configure, and commission systems to ensure optimal performance. - Diagnose and repair system errors, perform inspections, and assist with modifications. - Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards during all service tasks. - Provide excellent customer service and communication with internal and external stakeholders. - Assist in training team members and external customers. - Attend and complete training workshops and courses. **Qualifications:** - Engineering Degree in Electrical/Electronics (B-Tech/Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering preferred). - 5-7 years of relevant work experience, preferably with a marine background. - Proven experience in troubleshooting and maintaining electrical, electronic, and communication systems. - Familiarity with electronic equipment and system operations. - Previous experience working on ships is desirable. - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. - Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively under pressure. - Ability to travel and manage projects independently.
