Job Description

The Service Advisor is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by accurately diagnosing vehicle problems, scheduling service appointments, communicating repair needs and costs, and ensuring timely completion of work. They serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive service and repairs.

Responsibilities:

- Customer Service:

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally.
  • Listen attentively to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
  • Provide clear and concise explanations of recommended repairs and maintenance.
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the service process.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction after service completion.

- Service Operation

  • Schedule service appointments and manage the service schedule efficiently.
  • Create accurate repair orders and estimates.
  • Perform vehicle walk-arounds and document existing damage.
  • Communicate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs.
  • Monitor the progress of repairs and keep customers informed of any delays.
  • Process payments and handle customer invoicing.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
  • Promote and sell needed services to customers.

- Technical Knowledge

  • Stay up-to-date on automotive technology and repair procedures.
  • Understand vehicle systems and components.
  • Be able to accurately translate technical information into customer-friendly terms.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of warranty policies.

- Administrative Tasks:

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Answer phones and respond to emails.
  • Process warranty claims.
  • Order parts as needed.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn automotive systems.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in automotive service or customer service is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹12,000.00 per month
