Service Advisor

Job Description:

A Service Advisor acts as the communication link between customers and the service department. They ensure customer concerns are understood, documented, and resolved by coordinating with technicians and ensuring timely delivery of serviced vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction & Service Booking

• Greet customers warmly and understand their service/repair requirements.
• Schedule service appointments and manage the daily job card flow.
• Perform vehicle walk-around inspection and record customer concerns accurately.

Job Card & Workflow Management

• Prepare and update job cards with customer complaints, required services, and additional findings.
• Coordinate with service technicians and allocate jobs based on priority.
• Ensure that work is completed within the promised time.

Communication & Follow-up

• Explain recommended repairs, service estimates, and timeframes to customers.
• Obtain customer approval for additional repairs or parts replacements.
• Provide regular updates to customers about vehicle status and delays.

Quality Check & Vehicle Delivery

• Conduct post-service quality checks before vehicle delivery.
• Explain service work done, invoices, and warranty details to customers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints promptly.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of service history, job cards, and customer feedback.
• Follow warranty procedures
