AMS is seeking an SEO Writer who understands that SEO today means more than ranking in blue links — it’s about being discoverable in LLM-driven results, answer engines, and AI assistants. You will create authoritative, context-rich content that resonates with humans and is optimized for how machines increasingly understand, rank, and recommend information.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct entity-based keyword and topic research with a focus on aligning content to search intent, industry trends, and AI-driven discovery patterns.
Write high-quality, AI-friendly content that is structured for readability, voice search, and generative summaries while staying true to AMS’s brand voice.
Ensure all content is AEO-ready (optimized for answer engines) by structuring information clearly, using schema/structured data concepts, and anticipating user questions.
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement a holistic editorial strategy that integrates GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) practices.
Monitor content performance using traditional SEO metrics as well as emerging GEO/AEO signals and adapt strategies accordingly.
Continuously research evolving trends in SEO, AI, and digital content discovery to keep AMS ahead of competitors.
Support cross-functional teams with optimized copy for blogs, whitepapers, landing pages, and thought leadership content.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
4+ years of experience in SEO content writing with demonstrated adaptability to new SEO paradigms.
Proven ability to write clear, concise, engaging, and AI-ready content.
Strong knowledge of SEO, AEO, and GEO best practices, including keyword and entity research.
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex topics into authoritative but accessible content.
Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and SEO/analytics tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
