Job Title: SEO Executive Experience: 6 Months to 1 Year Location: On-site/ Newtown, Kolkata Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Digital Marketing / IT / E-commerce Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Executive with 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in Search Engine Optimization. You will be responsible for improving website rankings, driving organic traffic, and supporting broader digital marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Perform on-page and off-page SEO activities for company/client websites. Conduct keyword research , competitor analysis, and market trends to identify optimization opportunities. Optimize website content, metadata, internal linking, and site structure for SEO best practices. Manage and create backlinks through white-hat link building strategies. Monitor and report on website performance using tools like Google Analytics , Search Console , Ahrefs , or SEMrush . Collaborate with the content team to ensure SEO-friendly copywriting. Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry changes. Assist in executing local SEO strategies and optimizing Google Business Profiles . Requirements: 6 months to 1 year of proven SEO experience. Basic understanding of HTML, CSS , and WordPress/Shopify (preferred). Familiarity with SEO tools: Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz , etc. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good to Have: Knowledge of technical SEO and schema markup. Experience with content marketing or blog optimization . Familiarity with e-commerce SEO or Amazon product SEO .
