We are a team of KUSHUB MEDIA SOLUTIONS web design and development professionals who love partnering with good people and businesses to help them achieve online success. Job Summary: Kushub Media is seeking a passionate and skilled Backend Developer to join our growing technology team. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable server-side applications and APIs. Leveraging your experience with Node.js and MongoDB, you will contribute to building and enhancing our core products and services. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to make a significant impact in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable backend services and APIs using Node.js. Work extensively with MongoDB to design, implement, and optimize data models and queries. Collaborate closely with frontend developers to integrate backend logic with user-facing elements. Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment. Write clean, well-documented, and testable code. Troubleshoot and debug backend issues and provide timely resolutions. Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of our backend systems. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in backend development. Contribute to code reviews and share best practices within the team. Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in backend development. Solid understanding of JavaScript and the Node.js ecosystem. Proven experience working with MongoDB, including schema design, querying, and indexing. Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices. Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git. Understanding of software development principles and best practices. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
