Job Overview

The SEO Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing SEO strategies to increase organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and generate qualified leads. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, with a strong understanding of the healthcare or B2B industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. SEO Strategy & Implementation

· Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business goals.

· Perform keyword research for medical equipment, hospital solutions, and healthcare services.

· Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and images for target keywords.

· Ensure SEO best practices are applied across all web pages and blog content.

2. Technical SEO

· Conduct site audits to identify and fix technical issues (crawl errors, site speed, mobile-friendliness).

· Collaborate with web developers to improve site structure, URL architecture, and internal linking.

· Implement schema markup and optimize for local SEO (Google My Business, citations).

3. Content Optimization

· Work with the content team to create SEO-friendly content for products, services, and blog posts.

· Optimize existing content for better rankings and user engagement.

· Develop content plans around healthcare industry trends and search intent.

4. Off-Page SEO & Link Building

· Build quality backlinks from authoritative healthcare, medical, and industry websites.

· Manage directory listings, business profiles, and local citations.

· Monitor and improve online reputation and brand mentions.

5. Reporting & Analysis

· Track SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush/Ahrefs.

· Prepare monthly reports on organic traffic, rankings, conversions, and ROI.

· Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

6. Collaboration

· Coordinate with digital marketing, content, and web development teams.

· Support paid campaigns (PPC) and social media efforts with SEO insights.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

· 2–4 years of proven experience in SEO, preferably in B2B, healthcare, or medical fields.

· Strong knowledge of SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.).

· Experience with WordPress and basic HTML/CSS.

· Understanding of technical SEO, local SEO, and mobile optimization.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Good communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred:

· Certification in SEO/Digital Marketing.

· Experience with SaaS or service-based businesses.

· Knowledge of the healthcare/medical equipment industry.
