Job Description

As a Software Developer in the embedded systems field, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, maintaining, documenting, and releasing software solutions in alignment with specific Epic/Capability requirements. Your role will involve collaborating with System Leaders and Functional Owners to gather specifications for analysis and implementation. You will be tasked with creating Low-Level Designs for software components and providing technical guidance to ensure the successful realization of features and solutions. Additionally, you will decompose new Capabilities into features, writing Stories that enable the team to implement them effectively. Estimation of work packages and technical implementation of solutions will be within your scope of responsibilities. You will develop embedded code using C++ language, adhering to standards such as C++ 99, 11, 14, and 17, based on software requirement specifications. Troubleshooting in various software layers, including Application SW, drivers, BSP, OS, and middleware, will also be part of your duties. Your role will involve developing unit tests, utilizing different testing tools to verify software functionality, and documenting the software code for ECU utilization. Compliance with predetermined work processes and standards is essential, as is the identification and implementation of enhancements in the software development process/environment. Required Competencies: - Proficiency in embedded software development with C++ - Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal - BE/M. Tech in CSE, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering - Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git, Artifactory - Familiarity with Linux/QNX or other Real-Time Operating Systems - Knowledge of AUTOSAR, Vector tool chain, and related tools like GENy, Candela Studio, Configurator Pro - Understanding of CAN protocol (e.g., J1939), Canalyzer, and CANOE - ECU Diagnostics expertise using ISO14229 UDS on CAN protocol Good to Have: - Interest in Vehicle Connectivity/Telematics for the Automotive sector - Experience with Agile/SAFe methodologies in software development - Proficiency in Microcontrollers, including i.MX controllers and variants - Enthusiasm for working in a Global Organization environment This role offers you the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge software solutions in the automotive industry while working collaboratively with a diverse team in a dynamic global setting.,
