As a Solution Engineer, also known as a "Presales Consultant," "Sales Consultant", Pre -Sales Engineer or Sales Engineer , youll be a key player in the sales cycle, delivering thought leadership and owning solutions to enhance our customers experience. Youll collaborate with colleagues, support our sales team, and translate business objectives into compelling recommendations. With your technical and sales skills, youll present our product offerings, address objections, and inspire confidence in our technology infrastructure. A successful candidate should bring technical and sales skills that establish credibility and a confident presence and assure both internal and external stakeholders, customers, and partners. Our team engages across the sales organization to develop a ground-breaking vision using Salesforce technology solutions while overcoming technical objections within sophisticated sales campaigns while also driving enablement. Responsibilities: * As an Automotive Industry Solution Engineer, your impact will be seen by delivering customer success by owning the technical sales cycle from start to close * Winning the deal will involve you demonstrating our automotive solutions in the context of the challenges our customers are facing * When presenting, you will be familiar with differentiating Salesforce solutions in the context of Automotive OEMs and Retailer sales engagements - training to be provided as needed * As part of the Automotive SE team, you will contribute to defining, creating, and delivering automotive Go To Market messaging and assets for sales engagement * Your SE role starts with understanding the customer s needs and establishing Salesforce s product as the best solution that solves unique challenges * Own the relationship between our extended Solutions team, the customers technical team and our Sales Leadership * Have a strong curiosity about growing your career and participating in our internal training programs and mentorship initiatives. Required Qualifications: * Relevant 12+ years of experience working in pre-sales role selling enterprise solutions * A track record of developing innovative customer solutions * Proven oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication and relationship skills. * Strong time management skills in a dynamic team environment. * Inquisitive, practical and passionate about technology and sharing knowledge. * Good at explaining ideas and finding ways to keep people s attention. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working with Salesforce Solutions * Design-thinking workshop experience * Hands-on knowledge of building AI solutions and the benefits they bring
