Responsibilities
Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for Workday , including configuration, troubleshooting, reporting, and security setup.
- Lead ongoing system maintenance, upgrades, and release management, ensuring updates are tested and deployed with minimal disruption.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and IT teams to understand business needs and recommend effective Workday solutions and improve Workday adoption and utilization.
- Manage and resolve system issues through both internal ticketing systems (HR and Finance) and Workday s case management. This includes tracking, performing root cause analysis, and coordinating resolutions with internal teams and Workday support.
- Design, build, and maintain custom reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and business processes.
- Stay current with Workday releases and leverage updates applicable to HCM and Financial requirements.
- Oversee configuration and maintenance of POLITICO Workday tenants, with responsibility for security roles and foundational setup, ensuring all changes are carefully reviewed to avoid unintended impacts to global settings.
- Ensure system's health, data integrity through regular audits, validations, and system checks.
- Support HR and Finance with change management training and communication for system enhancements or new functionality.
- Support the creation of technical documentation for Workday configuration and related integrations
- Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to support system integrations (e.g., payroll, benefits, travel and expenses, etc..
- Other tasks as identified and assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on Workday administration experience, including configuration and support.
- Strong experience across multiple Workday modules (HCM, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, or Financials preferred).
- Solid understanding of Workday security framework and experience managing user access, security roles and permissions Proven ability to create and maintain complex Workday reports (Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports).
- Knowledgeable in Workday release management, with hands-on experience assessing, testing, and deploying biannual updates and feature releases.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical language to business users.
- Workday Pro certification or other Workday certifications are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.Additional Preferred Skills Experience with Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
- Experience working in a multi-country or global Workday environment for compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Understanding of Workday business processes and the ability to configure and troubleshoot them Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
