About the Role

Windows Desktop Engineer (L2/L3)

Key Responsibilities

• Incident & Root Cause Analysis:

  Identify and resolve complex systemic issues impacting end-user productivity and experience.

• DEX Optimization:

  Leverage DEX tools to measure endpoint performance, correlate issues with system changes, and enhance user experience.

• Automation & Scripting:

  Develop automation scripts (PowerShell or similar) to optimize desktop management and troubleshooting workflows.

• Cross-Team Collaboration:

  Partner with IT, Infrastructure, and Business teams to deliver effective end-user solutions.

• User Support & Enablement:

  Provide L2/L3-level support, ensuring seamless operation of Windows environments and training users on best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Experience:

  7–10 years in Windows desktop engineering, infrastructure, or related IT support roles.

• Technical Expertise:

• Deep knowledge of

  Windows OS internals

  (kernel, registry, services, drivers, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with

  OS-level troubleshooting tools

  and

  Unified Endpoint Management (UEM)

  for domain and Entra Windows devices.

• DEX Tools:

  Proven experience with platforms like

  SysTrack

  ,

  NexThink

  , or similar to monitor and improve digital experience.

• Automation Skills:

  Proficiency in

  PowerShell scripting

  for automation and issue resolution.

• Analytical Ability:

  Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.

• Communication:

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Profile

• Currently working in an

  L2 or L3 engineering role
