MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Welding Engineering, or equivalent education.
Minimum 12 years of work experience in a shipyard in a similar position, with experience working with classification society surveyors.
Certified Welding Engineer (e.g. AWS CWEng.) or International Welding Engineer (IIW - IWE), or equivalent formal qualification.
Certified welding inspector qualification (e.g. CSWIP 3.1 or above) is advantageous.
