Senior Wedding Photographer

Role Summary:

The Senior Wedding Photographer & Team Lead is responsible for leading wedding photography assignments, ensuring high-quality visual storytelling aligned with Mystic Studios’ brand style. This role includes managing on-ground photography teams, coordinating with clients, and overseeing post-production quality with a working knowledge of editing to guide and finalise deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Photography Execution

• Lead wedding photography shoots with creative composition and technical excellence.
• Capture key moments, emotions, and rituals that reflect the wedding story authentically.
• Coordinate with videography teams to ensure smooth shoot flow without disruptions.

Team Leadership

• Guide associate photographers and assistants during shoots to ensure optimal coverage.
• Allocate team tasks during weddings (e.g., group photos, detail shots) based on strengths.
• Mentor junior photographers on shoot planning, execution, and client interactions.

Client Coordination

• Interact with clients during shoots with professionalism and warmth.
• Understand client preferences and family traditions to ensure personalised coverage.

Post-Production Activities

• Expert knowledge in Lightroom and Photoshop to ensure editing standards are met.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum 4-6 years of professional wedding photography experience - including leading full wedding assignments independently.
• Leadership & team management skills -experience in leading associate photographers or second shooters
• Composition, posing, and storytelling techniques
• Expert Editing knowledge: Lightroom and Photoshop (able to guide editors effectively)
• Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills
• Adaptability to dynamic wedding environments, long working hours, and travel
• Attention to detail, punctuality, and organisational skills
• Knowledge of multiple wedding traditions (South Indian, North Indian, etc.) is an added advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
