Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Video Editor & Team Lead with 3–4 years of hands-on experience, a strong aesthetic eye for visuals, and solid motion graphics expertise. This role requires someone who can not only edit high-quality videos but also lead a team of video editors, ensure top-notch quality, and maintain consistency across all visual content.

Key ResponsibilitiesEditing & Motion Graphics

• Edit high-quality long-form and short-form videos for YouTube, social media, ads, and digital platforms
• Create and integrate motion graphics, animations, lower thirds, titles, transitions, and visual effects
• Ensure strong visual storytelling, pacing, and flow
• Perform basic to advanced color correction and sound design
• Maintain and enhance the brand’s visual language and aesthetics
• Stay updated with latest design, motion, and video trends

Team Leadership & Management

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of video editors and motion designers
• Assign tasks, set priorities, and manage timelines
• Review team output and provide clear, constructive feedback
• Establish editing and motion graphics standards and workflows
• Coordinate with content, marketing, and creative teams

Quality Control (QC)

• Conduct thorough quality checks on all video deliverables
• Ensure consistency in motion style, typography, colors, transitions, and branding
• Check for visual, audio, animation, and export-related issues
• Maintain a high creative and technical quality benchmark

Process & Delivery

• Ensure on-time delivery as per content schedules
• Optimize videos for different platforms and aspect ratios
• Maintain organized project files, templates, and assets
• Improve workflows for speed, quality, and scalability

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-Have)

• 3–4 years of professional experience in video editing and motion graphics
• Strong visual aesthetics and storytelling ability
• Proven experience in leading or mentoring a team
• Expertise in:
• Adobe Premiere Pro (Mandatory)
• Adobe After Effects (Mandatory)
• Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve (good to have)
• Strong command over:
• Motion graphics & animations
• Typography and visual hierarchy
• Transitions, overlays, and compositing
• Knowledge of color grading and sound design
• Understanding of YouTube and social media content formats
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines
