Senior Video Editor

Hours: Monday - Friday, up to 45 (some hours outside of this as required)

Work hours: GMT Shift, 3.30?pm to 12.30?am. It will be a fixed shift.

Length: Permanent position, with a six-month probation period.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Video Editor with expertise in motion graphics, video editing, camera operation, and visual design to join our dynamic creative team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in producing captivating content for digital media, managing end-to-end video projects, and transforming creative concepts into visual reality. A strong grasp of storytelling, pacing, design grammar, and cinematic composition is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit videos of high quality for multiple pla?orms (YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram,

websites, etc.).

? Create custom motion graphics and visual effects to add value to video content.

? Shoot with cameras and achieve the best frames, light effects, and sound recording.

? Work with content writers, designers, and marketers to create visually engaging

stories.

? Achieve consistency in branding across all visual media.

? Manage video assets, backup footage, and version control.

? Own video projects from development to delivery within tight timelines.

? Streamline videos for various pla?orms and formats with smooth playback and

mobile optimization.

? Keep up to date with the latest trends in video, editing styles, and design

advancements.

? Adobe Premiere Pro

? Adobe After Effects

? Adobe Illustrator

? Color grading tools (Lumetri Color, DaVinci Resolve optional)

Design & Collaboration Tools:

? Figma for visual design, UI layouts, and team collaboration (plus point)

Requirement for AI-based Services:

? Proficiency in AI-based video ideation and storytelling tools including:

o Hailuo AI for creative concept development and visual ideation

o MidJourney for generating high-quality, stylized visuals and imagery

o Leonardo.ai for AI-generated assets and image composition

o Familiarity with AI language and content generation tools (e.g., ChatGPT,

Jasper, Copy.ai)

? Understanding of various AI models and their creative applications (e.g. GPT-4,

DALLE, Stable Diffusion)

? Ability to storyboard AI-assisted narratives and bring them to life with compelling

visuals and audio

? Experience in creating AI-driven storytelling videos that combine live footage,

motion graphics, and AI visuals

? Ability to conceptualize and produce AI-based podcasts, including visual podcast

formats and voice enhancements through AI tools

Requirements:

? 34 years of experience working on professional video editing and production.

? Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects,

Photoshop, and Illustrator.

? Practical experience with camera handling (DSLRs/Mirrorless/Cinema Cameras).

? Excellent grasp of motion graphics and animation fundamentals.

? Familiarity with color grading, sound design, and video compression formats.

? Good understanding of design principles, layout, typography, and visual narrative.

? Capacity to work on several projects at once and meet deadlines.

? Good communica?on, collabora?on, and problem-solving skills.

? Portfolio that includes a variety of video projects, such as motion graphics and live action shots.

Additional Requirements:

1. Strong understanding of graphics design will be an additional advantage.
