Role Purpose
As a Video Content Editor, you will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling video content that captivates and inspires our target audiences. Collaborating closely with video content producers, you will transform raw footage into polished, high-quality videos that align with creative briefs and brand standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining creative excellence across all outputs while contributing to the continuous improvement of post-production workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit a diverse range of greenscreen video projects including corporate messaging, learning and educational resources as well as videocasts.
- Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines and reflects high production values.
Role And Responsibilities
- Ensure all visual content aligns with GEDU's brand guidelines and maintains high production standards.
- Interpret creative briefs and provide editing solutions that enhance learning journey of GEDU students.
- Conceptualize, create, and deliver engaging video content tailored for GEDU's various brand channels including webinar platforms.
- Edit and enhance video content to maximize its visual impact and audience engagement.
- Customize and optimize video assets to meet specific channel requirements, ensuring the best format and resolution for final output.
- Repurpose long-form video content into concise, engaging formats suitable for social media.
- Manage the archiving and backup of video projects for easy retrieval and future use.
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop innovative video concepts that support GEDU's strategic goals.
- Incorporate motion graphics and animations to visual learning and create compelling content.
- Conduct post-production tasks, including colour grading, sound design, and mastering, to ensure polished final outputs.
- Stay updated on trends in video production and implement new techniques to improve content quality.
Essential Skills And Experience
- Experience: Extensive experience of professional video editing experience, preferably in a creative agency, media production house or in-house brand team working on conceptualization to execution.
- Greenscreen Chroma Key: postproduction workflow
- Educational Background: A degree in Videography or a related discipline is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Digital Asset Management: Proficiency in managing and organizing digital assets efficiently.
- Video Post-Production: Expertise in editing, grading, sound design, and integrating motion graphics to create high-quality video content.
- Audio Post-Production: Skilled in editing, mixing, and mastering multitrack audio for podcasts and other formats.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Audition. Experience with Premiere Pro Productions is highly desirable.
- Technical Understanding: Strong understanding for video compression, optimization for web video, and working with various formats and resolutions.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for detail to ensure error-free, high-quality outputs.
- Higher Education Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with the Higher Education (HE) sector and student recruitment processes is a plus but not essential.
- Time Management: Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and deliver polished assets within tight deadlines while managing multiple projects.
