Senior Video Editor – Job Description  We are hiring a Senior Video Editor to join our media and communications team. The ideal candidate will work closely with multiple stakeholders to transform raw footage into high-quality, impactful video content optimized for digital platforms. Key Responsibilities * Edit and assemble raw video footage to create engaging and compelling videos. * Apply advanced editing techniques including splicing, sound balancing, color correction, colour grading, trimming, transitions, and visual effects. * Review and understand scripts/storyboards to accurately translate concepts into final video output. * Edit raw footage and structure video sequences to ensure clarity, storytelling, and message impact. * Review final edits to identify issues and recommend improvements before release. * Organize and manage all audio/video assets to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow. * Collaborate with the creative team, content writers, and other stakeholders to meet project requirements. * Stay updated with the latest digital trends, editing techniques, and platform-specific video formats. * Optimize videos for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms. * Export and deliver videos in appropriate formats for mobile and web distribution. * Adjust file formats, codecs, and sizes as per platform requirements. * Use a variety of non-linear editing software such as Edius, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, CapCut, Canva, etc. * Ensure consistent creative quality, branding, and messaging across all edits. * Ability to create AI-based videos using the latest trending tools (Runway, Pika, Midjourney Video, etc.) will be a major advantage.
