Senior - US Tax (R&D Tax Credit Analysis)

We are seeking experienced US Tax Specialists to join our team supporting US tax compliance and reporting. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in preparing key business tax returns and be proficient with industry-leading tax software.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Lead end-to-end R&D tax credit studies, including client interviews, data analysis, eligibility assessments, and credit quantification.
• Analyze and document qualified research activities (QRAs) and qualified research expenses (QREs) in accordance with IRC Section 41.
• Apply knowledge of Section 174 capitalization/amortization rules to support accurate financial and tax treatment.
• Conduct state-specific R&D credit studies, with a focus on California and Texas regulations, documentation standards, and filing requirements.
• Prepare technical narratives and supporting documentation for both federal and state tax credit claims.
• Stay current on tax code changes and IRS guidance related to R&D and Section 174.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other tax technology research tools.
• Enrolled Agent or other appropriate certifications are preferred.
• Education in accounting, Finance or other related fields.
• Knowledge in analysis of financial statements, general ledger accounting a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational Skills with attention to detail.
• Proactive problem solver and a team player who takes initiative.
• Flexible and practical approach to work.

Prior Work Experience: Please apply only if you have the relevant experience in US Taxation.

The initial shortlisting will be followed by 2 rounds of interview (Technical round & Interaction with Senior Management). Post Final Selection, there will be an interaction with HR representative.
