Location: Gurgaon / Hyderabad Mode of Work : Work from Office/Hybrid Experience: 4+ years Job Description : We are seeking experienced US Tax Specialists to join our team supporting US tax compliance and reporting. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in preparing key business tax returns and be proficient with industry-leading tax software. Skills and Attributes for Success : Lead end-to-end R&D tax credit studies, including client interviews, data analysis, eligibility assessments, and credit quantification. Analyze and document qualified research activities (QRAs) and qualified research expenses (QREs) in accordance with IRC Section 41. Apply knowledge of Section 174 capitalization/amortization rules to support accurate financial and tax treatment. Conduct state-specific R&D credit studies, with a focus on California and Texas regulations, documentation standards, and filing requirements. Prepare technical narratives and supporting documentation for both federal and state tax credit claims. Stay current on tax code changes and IRS guidance related to R&D and Section 174. Qualifications and Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other tax technology research tools. Enrolled Agent or other appropriate certifications are preferred. Education in accounting, Finance or other related fields. Knowledge in analysis of financial statements, general ledger accounting a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and organizational Skills with attention to detail. Proactive problem solver and a team player who takes initiative. Flexible and practical approach to work.
