Senior US Tax Associate

Role Overview: As a Senior Tax Professional in the Financial Services Tax practice, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing complex Partnership (1065) tax returns. Your role will involve providing tax compliance and advisory services for clients in the financial services domain, including Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Venture Capital, and Fund of Funds. This position offers you the opportunity to enhance your US taxation expertise, collaborate with global counterparts, and develop in a consulting environment. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and review Form 1065 and associated workpapers to ensure compliance with US tax laws. - Oversee compliance for Form 1065, Schedules K-1, K-2, K-3, Federal reporting for Private Equity clients, State and Local Tax filings, and international filing requirements. - Provide tax planning and advisory services to financial services clients. - Identify and resolve tax issues with innovative solutions. - Engage in all aspects of tax assignments, including planning, projections, and finalization. - Collaborate with US counterparts utilizing advanced tax technology platforms and tools. - Mentor and support junior staff members while contributing to performance feedback. - Participate in firmwide initiatives, including tax technology adoption. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of progressive US Taxation experience. - Demonstrated expertise in preparing and reviewing 1065 partnership tax returns. - Experience in Hedge Fund Taxation, Private Equity Taxation (Federal side, M-1, M-2, M-3, K-1, K-2, K-3), Funds of Funds Taxation (FOF), and Venture Capital Taxation. - Previous experience working with Financial Services clients. - Strong knowledge of US Tax Compliance. - Background in consulting firms, CPA firms, or Big 4/Big 6 environments. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage client interactions effectively.,
