As a Visual Arts and Drawing teacher at Indira Priyadarshini School, J. P. Nagar, you will have the opportunity to inspire and nurture young minds through the beauty of arts. Your role will involve teaching students from Primary to Middle School (grades 1 to 8) with a focus on fostering creativity, imagination, and intercultural understanding. Your responsibilities will include teaching Visual Arts encompassing various mediums such as drawing, painting, and digital art. While expertise in sculpture and mixed media is desired, guiding students in developing technical skills, understanding art principles, and exploring art history will be key aspects of your role. By using a lesson plan-based approach aligned with IPS standards, you will conduct assessments to track student progress and provide constructive feedback. As a female candidate, you are expected to be an arts/culture ambassador, actively participating in organizing cultural and arts events throughout the academic year. Managing art supplies, materials, and resources efficiently to create a safe and engaging learning environment for students will be part of your routine. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to showcase and celebrate student artwork, fostering a sense of community pride and encouragement. To excel in this role, you should hold an appropriate diploma or certification in Visual Arts or demonstrate relevant work experience. Prior experience in a respected CBSE/ICSE institution, particularly in primary or middle grades, is preferred. However, freshers with a strong passion for learning and teaching arts will also be considered for entry-level positions. A sound knowledge of pedagogy and a commitment to promoting high-quality artwork in school events and competitions are essential qualities we seek in our ideal candidate.
