Senior US Tax Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for

  real-estate partnerships (Form 1065)

  ,

  S-Corporations (Form 1120-S)

  ,

  C-Corporations (Form 1120)

  , and

  individual returns (Form 1040)

  with real-estate investments.
• Prepare and analyze

  Schedule K-1s

  and ensure accurate reporting of real-estate activities.
• Handle tax matters related to

  property acquisitions, dispositions, 1031 exchanges, cost segregation studies, depreciation schedules, and passive activity rules

  .
• Research complex tax issues involving real-estate transactions and provide clear technical guidance.
  
• Assist with quarterly estimates, extensions, and year-end tax planning strategies for real-estate owners and investors.
  
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations affecting real-estate entities.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather data, resolve issues, and ensure timely filings.
  
• Support tax audits and respond to IRS/state inquiries related to real-estate holdings.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;

  CPA or EA preferred

• 710+ years

  of U.S. tax experience, including a strong focus on

  real-estate taxation

  .
• Deep knowledge of partnership taxation, depreciation rules, and real-estate transaction tax implications.
  
• Experience with tax software such as

  GoSystem, ProSystems, CCH Axcess, UltraTax, or similar
