Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Mastery of accounting software QuickBooks and knowledge of applications integrated to it. QuickBooks certified ProAdvisor / Advanced certification preferred.

Strong domain knowledge and solid foundation of bookkeeping, accounting & financial procedures for US (GAAP).

To handle and oversee end to end accounting for US based entity engaged in staffing and software industry

Closure of books of accounts and coordination with company auditors

Accounting for transactions with group companies, reconciliations of related party ledgers and group accounting and financial statements.

High emotional quotient, excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Certified IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) is an added advantage.

Experience working with US clients is an added advantage

Solid understanding of financial practices and accounting principles, with thorough knowledge of all statutory legislations & regulations in India and USA

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Time sheet management and Processing invoices to customers based on timesheet hours and SOW
  • Reconciliation of Billed hours against paid hours
  • Maintain Accounts Receivables, Aging Analysis of Accounts Receivables using QuickBooks accounting and regulars follow up with customers
  • Preparing aging reports in Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables using QuickBooks
  • Reconciling all Client and Vendor payments on daily basis in QuickBooks
  • Working with different Client portal (Fieldglass, Ariba etc.) to enter time and expenses.
  • Need to respond to the queries raised by clients, vendors and consultants with immediate Resolution
  • Need to handle purchase Orders, preparation of payroll on Bi-weekly basis
  • Preparation of interim financials and year end financials as per the management requirement
  • Hands-on experience with MS-Office
  • Individual Contribution and Co-Ordination with Payroll and other teams.
  • MIS reports on AR, AP, Cost, Variance analysis, Budgets, proposal, feasible study and Taxes etc.
  • Reviewing the financial statements for inaccuracies and monitoring financial activity.
  • Managing and building team & Proactive Client communication.
  • May be assigned other jobs/responsibilities as per business requiremen
