Senior Unreal Engine Artist

As an Unreal Engine Artist at our company, you will be an integral part of the VFX team, focusing on the creation of real-time cinematic visuals and environments using Unreal Engine. Your role will involve collaborating with artists, CG & VFX supervisors, and pipeline developers to produce high-quality, photorealistic content for feature films, commercials, and episodic projects. Your responsibilities will include crafting real-time environments, lighting setups, VFX elements, and cinematic sequences within Unreal Engine. You will need to ensure that assets and scenes are optimized for performance while upholding visual quality standards. Additionally, integrating assets from software such as Maya and Houdini into Unreal, managing shaders, materials, and lighting setups to achieve the desired visual style, and working closely with other teams like VFX, layout, animation, and compositing for seamless integration will be key aspects of your role. Troubleshooting technical issues related to real-time rendering, contributing to tool and pipeline development, and collaborating on previs and virtual production workflows will also be part of your responsibilities. Your skills should include 3+ years of experience working with Unreal Engine in a VFX environment, a portfolio showcasing your artistic abilities in color selection, materials, and lighting, a strong grasp of real-time rendering concepts, proficiency in using Blueprints, Sequencer, Niagara for FX, and World Building tools, familiarity with asset import/export workflows, and the ability to optimize scenes for performance while preserving visual fidelity. Moreover, an understanding of virtual cameras, lens settings, and cinematic storytelling principles, along with excellent communication and team collaboration skills, are essential for success in this role.
