As a valued member of the SitusAMC team, your primary responsibility will be to review and verify loan applications along with supporting documentation. Your expertise in analyzing loan risk and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards will be crucial in this role. You will also be tasked with conducting thorough analysis of property appraisals to confirm adherence to company criteria. In addition to your core responsibilities, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders such as Loan Set Up, Compliance Reviewers, Funders, and Client Relationship Managers to facilitate the smooth processing of loans in the pipeline. Your ability to identify portfolio risks and effectively communicate reasons for loan approval or rejection will be instrumental in ensuring operational efficiency. To excel in this position, you must possess a minimum of 5 years of recent US Mortgage front-line underwriting experience. Your familiarity with mortgage policies, compliance laws, and regulations, including TRID, will be essential. Attention to detail, strong time management skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service are qualities we value in our team members. Furthermore, your proficiency in conducting income analysis from various tax documents, assessing credit reports and bank statements, and utilizing underwriting methods such as DU and LP will be advantageous. Experience with Non-QM loans and familiarity with third-party loan-level Fraud Reports will be considered a plus.
