Senior UI Developer

You will be joining our team as Assistant Vice President, Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst (C12) based in Pune, India. The XVA and Cross Asset Margin technology teams are focused on developing and enhancing strategic systems and services that have a direct impact on how Citi Capital Markets manages risk from trading activities. This includes calculating margin requirements for OTC bilateral derivatives and optimizing margin requirements for clients by utilizing models like VaR, SIMM, and Credit Stress. Your role will involve supporting various stakeholders such as traders, salespeople, risk managers, financial controllers, and operations staff. As an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst, you will play an integral role in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in collaboration with the Technology team. Your main objective will be to contribute to application systems analysis and programming activities with a primary focus on the UI platform. Key Responsibilities: - Provide expertise in the area and advanced knowledge of applications programming to ensure application design aligns with the overall architecture blueprint. - Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow to develop coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards. - Develop a comprehensive understanding of how different business areas integrate to achieve business goals. - Guide the team in establishing design standards to enhance efficiency in development workflow and product rollout. - Take ownership of planning and executing smooth Production releases. - Analyze existing operations to identify risks and redundancies and develop solutions accordingly. - Collaborate with team members and management to ensure projects meet application development and governance standards. - Stay updated on industry trends and developments. Qualifications: - 7+ years of relevant experience in Apps Development role - Hands-on coding experience in ReactJS, Axios, MUI, NGINX, JavaScript, HTML, Java (Spring-Web, Spring-Data, Hibernate) - Good knowledge of modern UI/UX design patterns - Exposure to microservices/micro front end architecture - Experience with building applications on a cloud platform - Proven implementation of design patterns - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively - Preferred experience in building public-facing web portals and business knowledge of Margin, CVA, XVA, regulatory stress testing - Good understanding of financial risks and ability to work with Quant team Education: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent - Master's degree is preferred Join us on a full-time basis in the Technology department at Citi, where we are committed to providing equal opportunities for all qualified applicants.
