About the Role

At Onething, we work on products that shape how people move, invest, learn, and live across industries. As a Senior UI Designer, you’ll bring these experiences to life, visually and interactively.

You’ll lead the visual direction of products across web and mobile, working closely with UX designers and stakeholders to turn ideas into clean, intuitive, and beautiful interfaces. You’ll also mentor junior designers and play a key role in raising the bar for visual design across the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of UI design projects, from exploration to final delivery.
• Lead client communications with confidence, clarity, and empathy.
• Juggle multiple design projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Translate user needs and business goals into elegant, usable, and scalable interface designs.
• Deliver presentations, documentation, and rationale that support design decisions.
• Mentor and support junior designers, helping raise the overall design quality of the team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience with a strong portfolio including 2–3 live projects.
• Experience in mentoring or leading design teams in your current role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal and client-facing interactions.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and equivalent modern design tools.
• Solid understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, colour theory, and interaction design.
• Ability to manage feedback loops constructively and work independently when needed.
