Senior Test Automation Engineer

This Sr. Software Engineer role will work on ensuring high quality of the Software Risk Management (SRM) platform which integrates all your application security (AppSec) test results into a centralized location and automates the most time-intensive tasks to speed up testing and remediation.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Scala and Selenium to help us conduct manual and automated testing for our web-based tool that aids developers in writing better, more-secure software. You will work closely with other QA engineers, developers, and technical support engineers, to build robust testing frameworks, identify and resolve issues, and contribute to the overall develop of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and execute efficient, reusable, and reliable manual and automated test cases across various platforms and systems


• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, tools, and test scripts for functional, regression, performance, security, and load testing


• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and delivery


• Collaborate with development and support teams to reproduce and document customer reported issues


• Has a team-player mentality - can communicate effectively with all team members

Key Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance for enterprise-grade customer facing products


• Proficiency with Scala and Selenium


• Experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence or equivalent tools


• Experience with adding automated tests to Jenkins CI/CD pipelines


• Familiar with API testing tools (e.g. Postman)


• Stellar written and oral communication skills


• Customer-first and results-oriented mindset and the ability to make practical decisions when making engineering choices


• BS/MS in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related discipline

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience working with application security testing tools


• Experience with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
