About Technology Enterprise Resilience Office This role will form a critical part of the Technology Enterprise Resilience team which resides within the Enterprise Resilience function to ensure the effective implementation and ongoing oversight of our Critical & Important Business Services, supporting continuous improvement initiatives in line with our strategic objectives and regulatory expectations. This role will work closely with business & technology partners across the firm globally. About The Role The role of the Senior Technology Resilience Data & Technology Practitioner is crucial in shaping, maintaining, and enhancing our organisation s operational resilience health from a technology perspective (whilst understanding the business services). We are seeking a candidate capable of applying technical expertise in data backup, recovery and resilience testing to design, troubleshoot and drive technology operational resilience across business & technology functions. As a Technology Operational Resilience Practitioner, you will be responsible for driving the ongoing and improvement of resilience (including vulnerability management) aross our business with a technology lens. You will be part of a small but extremely focus team that consist of SME s that understand technology, resilience practices and be focused on driving resilience into the DNA of Fidelity through SME guidance, testing, evidencing and utilising data and metrics to show our current position and drive where we need to focus our efforts Core areas of focus are as follows: Get Our Resilience Data, Metrics & Reporting Right: Driving how we use and consume data to map our important business services and CIFS and put in place and driving testing of IBS & understand where we need to drive improvements (Any knowledge of FUSIONRM useful) Drive the right metrics that articulate our resilience position and show where we need to focus improvements Represent technology resilience metrics at the appropriate resilience forums to demonstrate current state - and highlight where improvements are required - based on tracked data Ensure that our data & metrics are appropriately tracking the resilience of our systems and services to allow us to complete trend analysis Tie back testing to important business services to allow us to evidence & prove that we are appropriately testing our important business services or highlight where additional work is required Be a data scientist & understand data and how to make it resilient in design - for the enterprise and critical systems/services Understand how we measure current position - and drive improvement using metrics, data and good quality analysis Tracking & Driving our vulnerability management position Drive Strategy Drive data driven outcomes for the enterprise resilience function In conjunction with the other team members - drive the strategic agenda of resilience by design - and Focus on data and metrics to model our important business services & their health status - with specific focus on data modelling and the ability to drive / model our business with resilience tooling and ability to map services, testing & metrics Build and plan technology testing scenarios aligned to important business services - inclusive of applications but with specific focus on at scale data recover testing but thinking about how we test resilience of our data platorms and how we test continuation of service in the evenr of operational issues Liaising across the Infrastructure, Application, Data and Domain Architecture functions to discuss and agree patterns and design approaches for resilience, drive testing strategies & drive thought leadership Enable customers to understand & use the services in the most effective way to realise business benefit quickly using all means possible supported through a global operating engineering product model. Actively collaborate with other team members through pairing, encouraging an open collaborative working culture within & outside the team - driving resilience strategy Understand, produce & present key metrics and dashboards to provide insights into the health and performance of our operational resilience initiatives Experience and Qualifications Required Understands data from both an enterprise perspective but how to build data models and drive desired outcomes & with the right data thru exposing of metrics Understands overarching technology architechtures Has worked in a function or functions that understand technology resilience - and how to build into an ecosystem - but also how to measure trajectory & direction Understands core aspects of technology infrastructure - both onpremise, off prem IaaS and SaaS services (and levels of integration) Understands security vulnerability management Great with data, data modeling, building metrics Understands regulatory landscape - especially focus on technology aspects. Experience of DORA very advantageous A keen evangelist with interests in technology, security, cloud native application development Has directly worked in technology for at least ten years - and understand both Infrastructure & appliection landscapes and what good resilience design looks like If you don t have all of the skills listed - please still apply - there is a huge possibility of on the job learning - and we are looking for the right person and ability to mould into Fidelitys requirements - Don t be afraid to apply!
