Description
As an Information Technology General Controls (ITGC) Senior Auditor at American Express Internal Audit Group (IAG), you will have the opportunity to be part of the Resource Centre of Excellence in India. In this role, you will conduct audits of technology processes, ITGCs, and technology risk management. Your contribution will be vital in showcasing and expanding your audit skills and knowledge. - Participate as a key team member on audit projects to document processes, execute audit tests, including technology control tests, competently following policies and procedures - Collaborate with audit teams to understand the data behind key processes, risks, and controls to develop analytic control tests and interpret their results - Utilize automated work papers, analytics, and other department tools effectively - Perform root cause analysis on identified control gaps and validate management's actions to address findings - Summarize and communicate results and recommendations to close identified control gaps - Monitor a portfolio of audit analytics, assess results, and use the data to tell the potential business story - Assist team leaders and managers in accomplishing audit objectives in a team environment - Maintain audit proficiency through ongoing professional development, including data literacy skills - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in IT Audit or control testing - Understanding of emerging technologies and their impact on control practices - Proficiency in technology auditing control disciplines - Knowledge and experience in control theory and professional auditing practices - Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions to complex control or technical issues - Strong written and verbal communication skills to deliver high-quality feedback on complex issues - Professional Certification (CIA, CISA, CPA, or equivalent) expected American Express Internal Audit Group (IAG) is focused on utilizing a data-driven auditing approach across all audit portfolios.
