Job Description

Job Summary:

Electrical Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance

Troubleshoot electrical issues in panels, wiring, control systems, motors, and power distribution.

electrical blueprints, schematic diagrams

STP, RO, DG Set, plant equipment

electrical codes, safety standards

Coordinate with the engineering team for timely upgrades and installations.

Maintain documentation of all repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts used.

Inspect and test electrical systems using tools such as multimeters, megger and clamp meters.

Assist in the design and installation of electrical systems when needed.

Requirements:

ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
Proven experience in industrial maintenance, especially with switchgear, control panels, DG Sets and utility systems (STP/RO).
Strong knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance techniques.
Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams.
Solid understanding of electrical codes (e.g., IEC/IS/NEC) and safety practices.
Ability to work independently or as part of a maintenance team.
Familiarity with tools such as PLC testers, insulation testers, and safety lockout/tagout systems.

Work Conditions:

Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, or on-call as required.
Physically fit to handle maintenance duties in industrial environments.
