SENIOR TECHNICIAN

As a technician at a Maruti dealership, your role involves performing routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on vehicles, installing accessories, and ensuring all work meets quality standards. You will be responsible for diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical issues, replacing parts, conducting test drives, and maintaining a clean and organized workshop. Your strong technical skills, attention to detail, and good communication will be essential to keep customers informed about repair progress. - Diagnostics and repair: You will diagnose and isolate faults in vehicle systems using diagnostic tools and perform repairs on components like the engine, transmission, and brakes. - Routine maintenance: Conduct routine servicing, including oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections. - Accessory installation: Install genuine accessories, both electrical and non-electrical, such as infotainment systems, parking sensors, and body kits, following company guidelines. - Quality assurance: Test and adjust repaired systems to ensure they meet manufacturer performance specifications. Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards. - Customer communication: Coordinate with the service advisor to update customers on repair progress and communicate effectively regarding vehicle condition and needs. - Documentation: Keep detailed and accurate records of all work performed and parts used. - Workshop upkeep: Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure tools and equipment are in good working order. Qualifications: - Experience: Previous experience as an automotive or Maruti technician is often preferred. - Technical skills: Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components, with the ability to read technical diagrams and use diagnostic equipment. - Soft skills: Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities to interact with customers and team members. - Physical capability: Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
