Job Description

Role & responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing user manuals, release notes, and video scripts for product-related content. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and UX teams to deliver clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for our products.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and maintain high-quality documentation including:

User Guides
Product Manuals
Release Notes
Online Help Content
Product-related Video Scripts (VDS)

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, QA, UX) to gather information and understand product features.
Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand content for end users.
Ensure consistency in style, tone, and terminology across all documentation.
Review and edit content created by other team members for clarity and accuracy.
Stay updated with product changes and ensure documentation reflects the latest updates.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of documentation processes and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

57 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a
product-based company
.
Proven experience in writing user manuals, release notes, and video documentation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proficiency in documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, MS Word, or similar.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and content management systems (CMS).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for clarity and precision.
Candidate with Good communication skill is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Exposure to tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
