Job Description

As a Senior Technical Program Manager in the Single Message Authorization team at Mastercard, your role will be crucial in driving the customer experience strategy forward through consistent innovation and problem-solving. Your responsibilities will include: - Planning, executing, and delivering an existing technology product or program from inception to completion - Proactively managing the end-to-end delivery of engineering work through the engineering team and all dependent organizations - Owning and managing project communications, reporting on progress, and ensuring all dependencies are covered - Operating between teams and architectures to oversee gaps, processes, and systems, while effectively resolving blocking issues for successful delivery - Building and maintaining integrated project schedules considering internal/external dependencies, delivery approaches, constraints, and contingency planning - Ensuring Control teams from Legal, InfoSec, etc. participate in applications development and deployment efforts as needed Qualifications required for this role include: - Intermediate or advanced experience in Technical Program Management - Knowledge and experience in managing C++, Java/J2EE technology projects - Working with 2-3 scrum teams and possessing technical credibility to drive constructive discussions with engineering teams - Ability to provide business context to engineers, represent team systems effectively, and run productive meetings - Collaborating with engineering managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set priorities, and establish delivery milestones - Identifying blocking issues, managing their resolution, and maintaining good working relationships with engineers, managers, and peers Additionally, in line with Mastercard's corporate security responsibility, it is imperative that you: - Abide by Mastercard's security policies and practices - Ensure confidentiality and integrity of accessed information - Report any suspected information security violation or breach - Complete all mandatory security trainings as per Mastercard's guidelines Mastercard's decency quotient drives a culture focused on building a sustainable world that unlocks priceless possibilities for all.
