Senior Technical Lead - Java

As an experienced JAVA Architect, you will play a crucial role in defining and driving the overall architectural vision for JAVA-based applications to ensure alignment with business goals and meet performance, scalability, and security requirements. You will lead a team of developers by providing technical guidance, mentorship, and direction to ensure high-quality code, best practices, and adherence to coding standards. Your responsibilities will include analysing business requirements and technical specifications to design innovative and efficient solutions that cater to current and future needs. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining core components of JAVA applications, considering both functional and non-functional requirements. Identifying performance bottlenecks and optimizing JAVA applications for speed, responsiveness, and resource utilization will also be a key part of your role. Moreover, you will be involved in designing and overseeing the integration of JAVA applications with existing systems and third-party services to ensure seamless data flow and compatibility. Implementing security measures and best practices to safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data within JAVA applications will be crucial. Conducting regular code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for successful project delivery are also part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will stay updated with the latest JAVA trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve the development process and enhance application performance. Creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation for architectural decisions, system design, and code base will be essential. In addition, you will lead efforts to identify and resolve complex technical issues and production incidents related to JAVA applications. Other responsibilities include defining the team's goals and objectives, investigating and troubleshooting complex technical issues, mentoring and developing the team's engineers, ensuring the team's work meets the highest standards of quality, and working with the engineering manager to define the team's technical roadmap. You will need to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends, represent the team to other stakeholders, lead Azure cloud and Kubernetes deployments, and maintain GIT repositories and automated CI/CD pipelines for deployments. The technology scope includes but is not limited to Python, Java, and Angular. This is a full-time position based in Kochi, Kerala. The benefits include health insurance and Provident Fund. The work schedule is day shift, and the ability to commute/relocate to Kochi, Kerala is required. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in team leading, Java, Microservices, and Angular.
