Senior Technical Consultant-SAP ABAP

The role of a Senior Technical Consultant in the SAP Delivery DES department is critical in leading technical projects, troubleshooting issues, and serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). As a Senior Technical Consultant, you are expected to be proactive in acquiring knowledge in new technical areas and seizing opportunities for growth and enhancement. Your primary responsibilities will include developing, enhancing, and maintaining custom ABAP applications and reports while ensuring compliance with best practices and optimizing performance. Additionally, you will work on SAP Integration with legacy systems, troubleshoot Fiori applications, extend standard Fiori apps using OData services, and guarantee optimal performance and user experience. You will also be involved in implementing and working with S/4HANA concepts such as Core Data Services (CDS), OData, AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), and Adobe Forms. Debugging complex issues, providing efficient solutions, overseeing and supporting team members, and acting as an SME to offer guidance and support on technical matters are also part of your responsibilities. As a Senior Technical Consultant, it is crucial to stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends, proactively learn new technical areas, and leverage growth opportunities. Managing and troubleshooting interface communication using various transfer methods and technologies will also be a part of your role. Key skills required for this position include expertise in Core ABAP programming, strong understanding of SAP Cross Applications and their integration, proficiency in extending Fiori apps and working with OData services, deep knowledge of S/4HANA concepts and related technologies, excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities, effective team monitoring and leadership skills, keen interest in learning new technologies, and strong communication skills to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders. Having relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate, SAP Certified Application Associate) will be advantageous.
