Manage end-to-end compliance and reporting for indirect taxes (GST, VAT, Excise, Customs, etc.) across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to regulatory requirements.Review tax returns, reconciliations, and supporting documentation prepared by junior team members, providing guidance and ensuring high-quality deliverables.Act as a subject matter expert on indirect tax issues, advising internal stakeholders on tax implications of business transactions, supply chain structures, and cross-border operations.Collaborate with finance, legal, and business teams to identify tax risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and implement process improvements to enhance tax efficiency.Support automation initiatives, data analytics, and technology adoption within the ACoE to streamline reporting and improve compliance accuracy.Monitor legislative and regulatory developments in indirect taxation, assess their impact on the organization, and drive proactive implementation of necessary changes.Liaise with external advisors, auditors, and tax authorities during audits, assessments, or litigation, ensuring effective resolution of queries and disputes.Develop and deliver training sessions to upskill team members and business partners on indirect tax concepts, compliance processes, and system enhancements.Contribute to global tax projects, knowledge sharing, and best practice development within the ACoE framework, ensuring alignment with organizational tax strategy and governance standards.
