Senior Tax & Compliance Associate

As a Tax & Compliance Associate at our New Delhi office, you will be responsible for combining tax and accounting expertise with a focus on compliance, licensure, and regulatory oversight. You will work closely with the accounting team and cross-functional partners to ensure U.S. financial accuracy and compliance, as well as contribute to analytics, reporting, and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Support and coordinate all U.S. business tax filings, audits, and provisions - Manage statutory reviews and audits in collaboration with Big 8 or equivalent auditors - Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting - Build scalable processes for tax compliance and financial accuracy as the company grows - Own statutory and licensure compliance, including applications, renewals, and monitoring - Ensure alignment with evolving regulatory requirements by partnering with legal counsel - Track compliance changes across jurisdictions and implement risk-mitigation measures - Develop financial and operational models to support decision-making - Create dashboards and reporting tools to monitor KPIs and compliance health - Drive insights and improve financial visibility using SQL, analytics, and BI tools - Provide inputs for investor updates, board reporting, and strategic planning - Collaborate with finance, operations, and leadership teams in India and the U.S. - Contribute to high-priority projects beyond tax and compliance, spanning analytics and operations - Serve as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders on compliance and risk matters Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in tax, accounting, or compliance, with Big 8 experience strongly preferred - Direct experience in U.S. taxation, including business tax filings and audit provisions - CPA, ACCA, or Enrolled Agent certification preferred - Strong familiarity with statutory compliance and business licensure requirements - Experience coordinating audits with Big 8 or other top-tier audit firms - Hands-on experience with QBO, NetSuite, Rippling, Ramp, Stripe - Exposure to SQL, analytics, or BI tools preferred - Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills - Highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and proactive in building scalable processes - Excellent communication skills across geographies and functions Work Location: - Based in New Delhi - Required to be in office at least 3 days per week in a hybrid model,
