Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and diagnose existing problems with platform applications
Suggest improvements to procedures and infrastructure where possible
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs
Support the Business Applications Service Desk team in the resolution of more complex applications issues when raised by the business
Provide administrative support to the Senior IT Applications Developers including updating issues logs, testing bug fixes, updating documentation and conducting data entry
Keep the knowledge base updated to the highest standard always
Provide ad-hoc support to Business Applications projectsRepair and recover from hardware or software failures
Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies
Work with business users and Business Applications business analysts to assist in the design and development of change requests for the supported applications
Design and develop requested system changes given a high-level set of requirements
Provide prototypes, mock-ups, and test environments throughout the development lifecycle to ensure that user requirements are being delivered in line with their expectations
*Business Intelligence DeveloperRole Summary:The BusinessObjects team is responsible for building and support the company-wide Business Intelligence and reporting solutions through developments and enhancements to BI applications and data transformation services
Job Scope/Supervision:As part of daily activities, you will be required to maintain regular contact with a variety of internal teams including Account Management, Customer Success, Sales Operations, Service Delivery, Assurance and Finance
Duties and Responsibilities: Building, testing and modifying the BO semantic layer (universes)
