Senior Supply Chain Executive - Food Industry

Role Overview: As a Supply Chain Manager, your role involves planning, overseeing, and optimizing the entire process of acquiring raw materials, manufacturing products, and delivering them to customers efficiently and cost-effectively. Your main goal is to ensure a seamless, timely, and economical flow of goods, information, and finances through the supply chain. Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Planning: Develop the overall supply chain strategy to align with business goals and create long-term plans for the company's supply chain. - Vendor & Procurement Management: Select and manage suppliers, negotiate contracts, monitor supplier performance, and ensure the procurement of high-quality goods and services. - Inventory & Warehouse Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing storage costs and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. - Logistics & Transportation: Oversee the transportation and delivery of products, ensure efficient and timely delivery, and monitor logistics processes to identify and resolve issues. - Process Improvement & Optimization: Analyze supply chain processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement new technologies and strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs. - Data Analysis & Reporting: Use data to analyze supply chain performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and make informed decisions to improve operations. - Risk Management: Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate these risks and ensure business continuity. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as production, sales, and finance, to ensure coordinated planning and seamless operations. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or similar role. - Strong knowledge of supply chain management practices and principles. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
