Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with a strong background in structural design, site investigation, and government infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate degree in Structural Engineering and a minimum of 10 years’ experience, including at least one similar government project executed within the last three years.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct site investigations to assess structural feasibility and ground conditions.
Prepare and review structural drawings, detailed designs, and design reports.
Ensure structural designs are safe, sustainable, and economically viable.
Recommend cost-effective design alternatives while maintaining safety standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and government authorities.
Monitor on-site execution to ensure compliance with design specifications.
Prepare documentation for approvals, tendering, and client presentations.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree (M.Tech/M.E.) in Structural Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
Must have worked on at least one similar government project in the past 3 years.
Proficiency in design software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of Indian building codes and government project protocols.
Job Location
The position is based in West Bengal. Willingness to travel to project sites is required.
