Senior Store Executive- GAS INSULATED SWITCHGEAR

As a Senior Store Executive for GAS INSULATED SWITCHGEAR, your role involves moving and storing materials/products using a combination of manual labor and low complexity machinery/equipment such as forklifts and conveyors. Your responsibilities include handling and maintaining the flow of materials and products according to established guidelines, logging the movement of incoming and outgoing materials and products, and operating low complexity motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment. You are expected to have knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education. Problems you encounter are typically routine in nature, but may require some analysis for understanding. You will work under moderate to limited supervision for routine situations and communicate information that requires explanation or interpretation. Key Responsibilities: - Design and optimize the rack layout & material flow to gain high efficiency. - Modify the warehouse layout for kitting and sequencing area to achieve the shortest movement in the warehouse and good usage of warehouse space. - Kit material as per the Production Order and Pick List, prepare the GRN in SAP, and handle all incoming material flow with proper documentation. - Experience in loading and unloading Raw and Finished goods. - Create the Subcontracting challan to send material to vendor for rework. - Responsible for timely and accurate material feeding to the production line while keeping minimum WIP. - Conduct periodical inventory counting as per need and provide logistic support on cross-function team. - Design the FG delivery package to ensure picking efficiency, packing efficiency, safety, and cost efficiency. - Continuously improve logistic efficiency by introducing automation technology, especially for the logistic process and warehouse set-up. - Lead and participate in lean activities in the shop floor including 5S, Visual management, value stream mapping, layout, and logistics improvement. - Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Qualifications Required: - Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. - Minimum 2 to 4 years of professional work experience in Warehouse. - Knowledge of MS Excel and SAP. - Ability to operate industrial equipment, including cranes and forklifts. - Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. - Previous manufacturing experience is desirable. - Experience in lean manufacturing including 5S, Kaizen, A3, PDCA, etc. - Proficiency in both spoken and written English language is required.
