Senior Staff Engineer/Manager - Camera Firmware

We are seeking Senior Manager with demonstrable knowledge and hands-on experience with Camera / Video / Computer Vision software / firmware development.

• The Camera Firmware team creates embedded imaging solutions for Snapdragon chipsets that power advanced mobile devices. Our solutions leverage dedicated hardware, multi-core processors, DSP, and GPU cores to provide state-of-the-art photographs, video recordings, as well as scene data for image understanding and object detection.
• Candidate will be leading the team developing firmware to control Camera ISP HW accelerators including post processing modules on Snapdragon chipsets
• Candidate needs to quickly learn new hardware modules interface and create firmware / software interface layer for these modules
• Should be a quick learner, adopt to new technologies and good debugging skills
• Should be able to work with geographically spread teams and customers
• Should be able to lead designing the firmware, planning, execution, tracking, commercialization and support

Minimum Qualifications:

• BE/BTech ( EE, EC, CS) / ME/MTech
• 14+ years of experience in multimedia technologies
• Solid knowledge of image processing.
• Working experience on embedded systems preferable.
• Strong C/C++, assembly language programming and debugging.
• Knowledge or experience on of embedded systems / Android & Linux
• Proficiency with version control tools & code-tip maintenance.
• Capable of independent work within a fast-paced & collaborative environment.
• Leadership Experience/Experience in managing a team of 10+ members.
