As a Qualcomm Systems Engineer, your role involves researching, designing, developing, simulating, and validating systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions that pave the way for cutting-edge technology. Working collaboratively across functional teams, you will ensure the fulfillment of system-level requirements and standards. We are looking for a Senior Manager with expertise and practical experience in Camera, Video, Computer Vision software, and firmware development. The Camera Firmware team specializes in creating embedded imaging solutions for Snapdragon chipsets that power advanced mobile devices. Leveraging dedicated hardware, multi-core processors, DSP, and GPU cores, our solutions deliver state-of-the-art photographs, video recordings, and scene data for image understanding and object detection. In this role, you will lead the team responsible for developing firmware to control Camera ISP HW accelerators, including post-processing modules on Snapdragon chipsets. It is essential to quickly grasp new hardware modules" interfaces and develop firmware/software interface layers for these modules. Furthermore, you are expected to be a quick learner, adaptable to new technologies, possess good debugging skills, collaborate effectively with geographically dispersed teams and customers, and lead the design, planning, execution, tracking, commercialization, and support of firmware projects. **Minimum Qualifications:** - BE/BTech (EE, EC, CS) / ME/MTech - 14+ years of experience in multimedia technologies - Proficient in image processing. - Working experience on embedded systems is preferred. - Strong skills in C/C++, assembly language programming, and debugging. - Knowledge or experience in embedded systems, Android, and Linux. - Proficiency in version control tools and code-tip maintenance. - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. - Leadership experience with managing a team of 10+ members. **Minimum Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 6+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. OR - Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. OR - PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
